Piston compressor

The piston compressor is one of the earliest compressor designs, but it is still a universal and very efficient compressor. The piston compressor moves the piston forward in the cylinder by connecting rod and crankshaft. If it compresses only on one side of the piston, it is called the single-acting compressor. If both the upper and lower sides of the piston are used, it is called double-acting. Piston compressors are widely used. It compresses either air or gas and requires little modification. Piston compressor is the only one able to compressed air and gas to high pressure, suitable for breathing oxygen compressor design. Piston compressor configurations can range from a single cylinder configuration for low pressure/small capacity purposes to a multistage configuration that can compress to very high pressures. In a multistage compressor, the air is compressed in stages and the pressure increases step by step.

Rotary screw oxygen compressor

Screw type oxygen compressor belongs to positive displacement compressor, its piston adopts the form of screw; This is the main type of compressor in use today. The main components of the screw compression element are the convex rotor and the concave rotor. The two rotors move close to each other so that the volume between them and the cavity decreases gradually. The screw pressure ratio depends on the length and shape of the screw as well as the shape of the vent. The screw element is not equipped with any valves and there is no mechanical force that creates an imbalance.


Rotary slide oxygen compressor

Using traditional, proven technology, rotary slide oxygen compressors are driven directly at very low speeds (1450rpm) and offer unmatched reliability. The rotor is the only continuous operating component with a number of grooves cut along the length direction, which are inserted with slides that slide on the oil film. The rotor rotates in the stator of the cylinder. During the rotation, centrifugal force throws the slide out of the slot, forming individual compression Chambers. The volume of the compression chamber is reduced by rotation, and the air pressure is increased. The heat generated by compression is controlled by the injection of pressurized oil. High pressure air is discharged from the vent, where residual oil is removed by the final oil separator.


Centrifugal oxygen compressor

Centrifugal oxygen compressor is driven by the impeller to do high speed rotation, so that the gas centrifugal force, because the gas in the impeller diffuser flow, so that the gas through the impeller after the flow rate and pressure has been increased, the continuous production of compressed air.

The centrifugal oxygen compressor is mainly composed of rotor and stator. When the impeller rotates at a high speed, with the rotation of the gas, under the centrifugal force, the gas is thrown to the back of the diffuser to go, and in the impeller formed a vacuum zone, at this time the fresh air from the outside into the impeller. The impeller keeps rotating, and the gas is constantly inhaled and ejected, thus maintaining the continuous flow of gas. Centrifugal oxygen compressor depends on the change of kinetic energy to increase the pressure of the gas. When the rotor with blades rotates, the blades drive the gas to rotate and transfer the work to the gas so that the gas can obtain kinetic energy. After entering the stator part, the speed and energy head are converted into the required pressure due to the action of stator diffuser, and the speed is reduced and the pressure is increased. At the same time, the guiding role of the stator part is used to enter the impeller of the next stage to continue to boost the pressure, and finally the pressure is discharged from the volute.
