Application of Nitrogen Compressor in Industry

Nitrogen is an inert gas and widely exists in the atmosphere. It is a relatively cheap gas, so it is widely used in the national economy such as laser cutting, chemical protective gas, chemical synthesis, electronics industry, pharmaceutical industry, etc.

Nitrogen acts as a protective gas in laser cutting. Medium-pressure nitrogen is mainly used to blow away oxygen to prevent oxidation of the metal incision and surrounding areas at high temperatures during cutting, so as to avoid brown oxidation spots.

Generally, the pressure of nitrogen required for laser cutting is 15-40barg, and the nitrogen from the PSA nitrogen generator is below 10barg

Therefore, a nitrogen compressor is needed to pressurize the nitrogen, and the nitrogen pressure is increased to the pressure required for laser cutting

Nitrogen storage

Usually the pressure of nitrogen output from PSA nitrogen generator is not high. If the nitrogen generator has excess capacity, or if it is charged at night by peak and valley electricity, it will be more economical. It is necessary to store the nitrogen for subsequent use. This is generally the case. Use a nitrogen compressor to pressurize to a pressure of 200-300 kg and fill it into a high-pressure bottle. A high-pressure bottle can fill about 10 cubic meters of nitrogen.

2.Nitrogen storage

Usually PSA nitrogen generators output nitrogen pressure is not high. If the capacity of the nitrogen production equipment is overcapacity, or the peak and valley power is used at night, there will be more economic benefits. Nitrogen needs to be stored for subsequent use. At this time, nitrogen compressors are generally used. Fill the high-pressure bottle with a pressure of 200-300 kg, and one high-pressure bottle can be filled with about 10 cubic meters of nitrogen.
