What Is Co2 Compressor?
 
This carbon dioxide compressor is mainly used for small carbon dioxide compressor with a displacement of 5NM3 to 30NM3 for one hour, an inlet pressure of 1-2 kg, and an exhaust pressure of 20-30 barg. It is suitable for small dry ice plants and CO2 collection after supercritical.

Types Of Co2 Compressor
Bailian series of oil-free lubrication Co2 gas booster compressor (hereinafter referred to as the compressor) belongs to oil-free lubrication, reciprocating piston, single acting small compressor. The structural type is divided into one row (ZW type), two rows (VW type), three rows (WW type), four rows (SW type) and vertical ZCW type single-stage, two-stage, three-stage, four stage and five stage compression; The cooling mode is divided into air cooling type and water cooling type; It is designed for users who need pure air source and high environmental requirements. The machine does not need thin oil lubrication. The moving seals in the cylinder are made of self-lubricating materials to ensure that the compressed air source will not be secondary polluted. It can be used to compress or recover clean air, nitrogen, Freon, carbon dioxide and other stable gas media. The machine adopts automatic control mode, with small leakage, low noise, no need to assign special personnel to watch, and can operate reliably for a long time.

This series of compressors are non-standard equipment, which are generally produced according to user requirements: the rated suction pressure of the machine is from micro positive pressure to 4.0MPa or higher, the maximum discharge pressure can be 15.0MPa, the maximum discharge capacity can be 1500 Nm3/h, and the single unit installed power can reach 55kw. The machine is skid mounted as a whole. All parts and components are connected before leaving the factory. The user only needs to connect the inlet and outlet pipes and connect the power supply to enter the commissioning procedure.
 
According to the use of carbon dioxide compressor
One is that the intake pressure is slightly positive to 2 kg, and the exhaust pressure is about 20 kg - 80 kg, stored in a carbon dioxide cylinder.It is used for the recovery of carbon dioxide gas from dry ice plants and the recovery of carbon dioxide gas after supercritical extraction.
The intake pressure is 4-6 kg, CO2 is extracted from the CO2 cylinder and filled into the large CO2 cylinder.

How Does Co2 Compressor Work?

Bailian Operating principle of carbon dioxide compressor

  Carbon dioxide compressor is composed of main engine, motor, base, pipeline system, cooling system and display control system.
 The movement mechanism of the carbon dioxide compressor is a crank connecting rod mechanism composed of crankshaft, connecting rod, piston and other parts: the motor drives the crankshaft of the compressor to rotate through the belt, the crankshaft drives the connecting rod, and the connecting rod drives the piston to move in a reciprocating straight line, resulting in changes in the cylinder volume. Since the automatic gas valve determines the suction and exhaust process of the cylinder, the purpose of increasing the gas pressure is achieved. The crankshaft rotates for one cycle to complete a working cycle, and the gas with lower pressure enters the cylinder through the intake port and is compressed into the gas with higher pressure and discharged for use.
  There is no liquid lubricant in the carbon dioxide compressor. The piston ring and guide ring are made of high-quality polytetrafluoroethylene with self-lubricating performance. All main parts have certain rust resistance. All bearings are equipped with sealing rings to ensure reliable operation of the machine.

Workflow of Bailian carbon dioxide compressor

Under standard working conditions: carbon dioxide gas is sucked into the first stage cylinder of the compressor through the filter, and then after the first stage compression, it is discharged to the first stage cooler for cooling, and then it is sucked into the second stage cylinder. After the second stage compression, it is discharged to the second stage cooler, and then it is discharged through the check valve (to the high-pressure gas tank - configured by the user) for use. If the suction inlet pressure of the carbon dioxide compressor is ≥ 2.0Mpa, the primary startup valve is closed, and the gas is only compressed by the secondary cylinder of the compressor and discharged to the gas tank. In addition, the set value of the pneumatic valve of the third stage carbon dioxide compressor is: the air inlet value (0.6~1.5Mpa), the first stage pneumatic valve is open, and the other pneumatic valves are closed. Air inlet value (1.5~2.8Mpa) The first and third stage pneumatic valves are closed, and the second stage pneumatic valve is opened. When the inlet air is > 2.8Mpa, the primary and secondary pneumatic valves are closed, and the tertiary pneumatic valves are opened. Unloading solenoid valve is also set on the exhaust pipe to vent the gas in the pipe and cylinder during shutdown to prepare for the next light load startup (to prevent frequent motor startup, restart after shutdown should be more than 3 minutes).
Control mode of carbon dioxide compressor
The carbon dioxide compressor is monitored by pressure sensor, and the startup and shutdown are controlled by two pressure transmitters. The specific control mode is as follows:
Start: when the CO2 inlet pressure exceeds the set value and the starting conditions are met, press the start button to start the main motor.
Stop: when the carbon dioxide inlet pressure is lower than the lower limit (0.5Mpa) and the exhaust pressure reaches the set value, the compressor will stop automatically.
