How does the oxygen compressor work?

The crankshaft drives the connecting rod, the connecting rod drives the piston, and the piston moves up and down. The movement of the piston changes the volume in the cylinder. When the piston moves down, the cylinder volume increases, the intake valve opens, the exhaust valve closes, air is sucked in, and the intake process is completed. When the piston moves upward, the cylinder volume decreases, the outlet valve opens, the intake valve closes, and the compression process is completed. It is a positive displacement compressor that uses one or several reciprocating pistons to change the internal volume of the compression chamber.

Oxygen compressor workflow

The oxygen to be compressed requires several steps to successfully compress. After passing through the filter, the intake solenoid valve and entering the first-stage cylinder of the compressor, after the first-stage compression, it is discharged into the first-stage cooler for cooling, and then discharged into the second-stage cylinder for compression Until the fourth stage cylinder cools and cools down, then it passes through the check valve. The valve is discharged. The cylinder and cooler of the compressor are cooled by an independent blower. The unloading solenoid valve is arranged at the last stage of the compressor. When the machine is turned off, the gas in the pipes and cylinders will be evacuated to prepare for the next light-load start. If necessary, the exhaust gas can be connected to the intake pipe.

The process can be divided into four processes: expansion, suction, compression and exhaust.

1. Expansion: When the piston moves to the left, the volume of the cylinder increases, the pressure drops, and the residual gas originally remaining in the cylinder expands.

2. Suction: When the pressure drops to slightly less than the air pressure in the intake pipe, the gas in the intake pipe will push the suction valve into the cylinder. As the piston moves to the left, the gas continues to enter the cylinder until the piston moves to the left.

3. Compression: As the piston rotates to the right, the volume of the cylinder is gradually reduced, thus starting to compress the gas. Due to the backstop function of the intake valve, the gas in the cylinder cannot return to the intake pipe, the air pressure in the outlet pipe is higher than the air pressure in the cylinder, and the gas in the cylinder cannot escape from the exhaust valve to the outside of the cylinder. The gas in the exhaust pipe has a backstop effect due to the exhaust valve, so it cannot flow into the cylinder. Therefore, the amount of gas in the cylinder remains constant, and only because the piston continues to move to the right, the amount of air in the cylinder decreases and the gas pressure continues to increase.

4. Discharge: When the piston moves to the right and the pressure of the compressed gas rises slightly to the air pressure in the outlet pipe, the gas in the cylinder opens the spring of the exhaust valve and enters the outlet pipe, and continues to discharge until the piston moves. Until the correct end. Then, the piston starts to move to the left again, repeating the above action. The piston continuously reciprocates in the cylinder to recirculate the cylinder and discharge gas. Each reciprocating movement of the piston becomes a working cycle, and the distance the piston passes each time or once is called the stroke.

Summary
