The working chamber is directly used to compress the gas and consists of a cylinder, a cylinder liner, a gas valve, a packing, a piston and a piston rod. The piston is driven by the piston rod to reciprocate in the cylinder. The volume of the working chamber on both sides of the piston alternately changes in turn. The gas on the side of the volume decreases due to the increase of pressure through the gas valve, and the volume increases on the side due to the decrease in gas pressure. The valve sucks in the gas, and the transmission component is used to realize the reciprocating motion. There are a crankshaft connecting rod, an eccentric slider, a swash plate, etc., wherein the crankshaft linkage mechanism is most commonly used, and it is composed of a crosshead, a connecting rod and a crankshaft.
